Irina M. Petersen

Irina M. Petersen was raised in Brooklyn, New York. She received her Bachelor of Arts from SUNY Stony Brook Honors College in 2005 and her Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra Uni-versity School of Law in 2009. She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2010 and is also admitted to both Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.

Prior to joining Torino & Bernstein in 2023 as an associate attorney, she practiced in pri-marily in civil litigation, plaintiff’s personal injury and family law. With the firm, she focuses on civil defense litigation.

She currently resides with her family in East Islip, New York.
